Great restaurant. We were there a while ago. The quality is consistently good. The food tastes very good and is fresh. From the salad to the pasta to the roast beef, everything is very well prepared. We were served very friendly and courteous.

A small wine bar on the Saxon Wine Route, with a rather unusual menu for this region. In addition to hearty meat dishes, there were also fish dishes on the menu. The meals in the middle price category are all freshly prepared, visually well presented and the portion sizes are more than appropriate for the price. Now for the most important thing, I haven't seen a guest who hasn't empty their plate despite the portion sizes. The food tasted really good to us too. For this and also for the staff we have the *****. Gladly again.

We went to the smithy on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation. We actually thought that we would have to go on but the nice waitress made it possible for us to get a table with the best view of the Elbe. Without us really sitting, she then asked us about our drink requests. Less than 5 minutes later, according to our meal preferences. The food was also prepared quickly and tasted very, very good! Some burger shops in Dresden can cut themselves off. The price of the wine, the water and the food was also in order, for the quality you can ask for something. All about a very good package that you can treat yourself to. 👍

Very nice place, with a lot of small flaws! We were greeted warmly and had to disinfect our hands at the entrance first. The menu was brought over in a timely manner, but then we had to wait almost 15 minutes before our order was accepted. We were literally braised in the sun, without drinks! There are not enough parasols on the terrace for all tables or no concept to protect the guests from the sun at lunchtime and in the evening. The food was just too expensive for this quality. French fries were ordered instead of fried potatoes, this "service" costs € 2 extra. That is a cheek and it never happened to us, it even says it on the menu. A friend had her dog with her and later asked for water for it. The waitress ran past our table twice without anything in her hands, not even the water. This was brought after a good 10 minutes. You can really sit there on the terrace, but these many small defects are extremely annoying. The terrace was only 50% full and therefore prompt service should not be a problem. The bill was also incorrect, the drinks exchanged, just good that the food had the same price. The parking lots are at least in the shade, so you don't have to get into an overheated car.

Reserved for 5 people by phone. Great ambience as well as great reception and friendly service. The food tasted really good and was plentiful, so that everyone was full. The freshly tapped beer was well chilled. Many thanks also to the kitchen team who prepared the fresh fish from the Baltic Sea for us. Great. Keep it up.

Main courses great, great atmosphere and very friendly service. Unfortunately this time the fish soup was completely wrong. Water with 2 pieces of fish and a mass of kale. Why is there no invoice ????

Fantastic view over Elbe, very peaceful and calm. Service was good, season Spargel dishes were offered, though we.can not say it was delicious, but simply good. Also, they have sunbeds which one can use and enjoy the sun. Saxonian wines were very good. Please don't go there since we want to have the place to watch the sunset alone.

Great place in a cozy setting and beautiful river views. Aside from the regular menu they feature seasonal specials from fresh, local ingredients. I had locally raised lamb with a side of homegrown potatoes and Brussels sprouts and it was to die for. We will definitely be coming back! 5/5 from me!
